【横芝光町の楽しみ方😄】
横芝光町は九十九里海岸の中心部に位置し屋形海岸と木戸浜海岸を挟んで、栗山川があります。栗山川は九十九里平野の中では最大の二級水系であり、この界隈はウミガメ産卵の最北限とシャケ産卵の最南限として、自然豊かな地域として知られています。
また、海と川を生かしたマリンスポーツも盛んな町です。通年で屋形海岸と木戸浜海岸で楽しめるサーフィンを始めとして栗山川は4月から11月まで、毎月の第2日曜日にカヌー教室があります。
また、9月から12月にアルフェック•フォールディング•カヤック体験会があります。今年の日程は9/24、10/8、10/22、11/5、11/26、12/3です。
さらにさらに、横芝光町はユニバーサルデザインのまちづくりを目指している皆さんにより、屋形海岸で、モビマットを敷設して、車椅子ユーザーやベビーカーをお使いのファミリーなど、海を楽しめるプロジェクトをすすめています。9/10は今年最後の大型イベントがあります。見逃さないでください❣️
海だけでなく、9/17にプール施設を使って、ハンディのある方のためのカヌー体験会もあります。その延長線で、10月に舞台を栗山川に移し、普段簡単にカヌーを楽しめない方でも、役場とボランティアの皆さんの温かい協力で夢を実現できます。
世の中に津々浦々でマリンスポーツ関連のイベントが多数あるなか、横芝光町のように、地味ですが、確実にマリンスポーツを楽しんでいる自治体は、けっして多くないと思います😊

【横芝光町教戰手冊😄】
橫芝光町位於千葉縣九十九里海岸的中間位置，擁有屋形海岸和木戶濱海岸，兩海岸之間，又有一條橫跨九十九里原野的栗山川，這個地區自古以來就是海龜產卵的最北限海岸，同時又是鮭魚產卵的最南限，自然環境優渥。
因為近海靠河，自然而然水上運動非常盛行。除了四季的衝浪外，在河邊每年4月到11月的第二個週日早上，都有獨木舟教室，推廣划船運動。同時，9月到12月，有6次組裝式獨木舟推廣活動，分別是9/24、10/8、10/22、11/5、11/26和12/3，值得一試。
除此之外，小鎮在熱心人士的努力下，致力於推動無障礙規劃，在屋形海岸沙灘舖設長墊，方便輪椅和嬰兒車行動，讓不易接觸大海的朋友也能有親海的機會。9/10是本年度最後一次大型活動，請不要錯過。
另外，小鎮還利用游泳池和河川，為殘障人士舉辦獨木舟活動，9/17先在游泳池教學，然後10月移師河岸碼頭，全程都有志工照料，保證安全。
最近，有許多地方都在推廣水上運動，但是少有類似橫芝光町一樣雖然樸實，但是持續不懈的小地方應該是不多的☺️

【What is the best way to enjoy in Yokoshiba Hikarimachi😄】
Yokoshibahikari Town is located in the center of the Kujukuri coast, with the Kuriyama River across the Yakata coast and the Kidohama coast.
The Kuriyama River is the largest secondary water system in the Kujukuri Plain, and this area is known as an area rich in nature as the northernmost spawning point for sea turtles and the southernmost point for salmon spawning.
It is also a popular town for marine sports that make use of the sea and rivers. Beginning with surfing that can be enjoyed year-round at Yakata Beach and Kidohama Beach, Kuriyama River has canoe classes on the second Sunday of every month from April to November.
Also, from September to December, there is an Alfek folding kayak experience event. This year’s dates are 9/24, 10/8, 10/22, 11/5, 11/26, and 12/3 if you would like to join us!
Furthermore, Yokoshiba Hikari-cho aims to create a town with universal design, and with everyone’s help, we will carry out a project to install Mobimat on Yakata Beach so that wheelchair users and families using strollers can enjoy the sea. 9/10 will be the last big event of the year. Don’t miss it❣️
In addition to the sea, there is also a canoe experience event for people with disabilities using the pool facility on September 17th. As an extension of this, the stage will be moved to the Kuriyama River in October, and even those who cannot normally enjoy canoeing will be able to make their dreams come true with the warm cooperation of the town hall and volunteers.
While there are many events related to marine sports all over the world, I don’t think there are many local governments like Yokoshibahikari-machi that enjoy marine sports.
